The Goat Dublin is a restaurant and bar that wears many hats, serving as a brunch spot, family-friendly lunch destination, and sports bar with an added twist—a volleyball court that spices up the atmosphere. Situated on Silver Falls Street in Dublin, it draws a mixed crowd from casual lunchers to sports fans and local groups looking for a relaxed hangout.

The vibe here is laid-back with a familiar, worn-in feel, making it a comfortable place to unwind after work or catch a game with friends. The bar area, though not flashy, benefits from attentive bartenders who take care in crafting cocktails like the Black Walnut Old Fashioned and Crown Apple & Gingerale, appealing to visitors who appreciate a thoughtfully made drink without the fuss.

Food hits familiar comfort notes—chicken wings, pork tacos, and the locally talked-about Nashvegas Burger are among the highlights. The burger, especially, seems to draw in those who enjoy a hearty, well-balanced bite, with some nods going toward the tangy pimento cheese and crispy bacon. The menu adapts through the week, with a lively happy hour that features different dishes at approachable prices, encouraging locals to drop in regularly rather than just on weekends.

Groups, especially sports teams, find The Goat convenient and welcoming, able to accommodate gatherings between events or casual celebrations. Family visits during brunch or lunch hours are also common, as the menu and atmosphere are adaptable to different ages and tastes. Evening events like paint and sip nights suggest a community-oriented feel, where the staff’s friendly, organized approach adds to the experience without overshadowing it.

Best times to visit seem to be afternoon and early evening hours, when the place manages a nice balance of lively energy and laid-back comfort. With the volleyball court adding a bit of activity, and screens showing sports, it’s a spot that encourages both eating and socializing. For those who come for a meal, there’s something reliable about what’s on the plate, paired with drinks and conversation in an unpretentious setting.

Overall, The Goat Dublin caters well to locals who want a multi-purpose hangout—good for casual dinners, catching a game, or meeting up with friends in a space that feels familiar and attentive without trying too hard.

This place is the best! Mario is amazing, all the staff are great but I end up here almost every night to relax. Great food and atmosphere!

Kara (gm), Mario (bartender), and Kara (server) were wonderful! Kara (gm) organized a lovely paint and sip night for customers to attend, Kara (server) and Mario did an excellent job providing food and drinks throughout the duration of the party. A great experience for everyone!

The bartender is fantastic and so is the cocktails. The menu is ok. Food is above average but nothing special, Typically made fresh to order. The bar is pretty worn in appearance - places is typically pretty empty so the service is pretty on point and the cocktail menus was delightful.

We absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is really nice, the happy hour menu has a different dish for every weekday at a great price, and the burgers are amazing! In particular, we really enjoyed the Nashvegss burger. I am a sucker with anything with pimento cheese. The bacon on this burger is so delicious too. This is going to be a place we frequent!

Had a birthday party for my husband last minute planning and it turned out amazing. The space is huge we had 50+ and Kara and Mario were awesome. We had handicapped and older guests and the space accommodated them with no issues. Can’t thank them enough, plan to use them again for our next event.

Makayla was our server and she was great. We’ve been here a few times- date night, girls night or to watch the game. Casual, games, and food is always yummy. We got the hot chicken (pimento) dip and the first time I was here I got a flatbread with fig or dates and prosciutto on it. Delicious!

Mario was incredible! We came in unannounced with 30 people on a Sunday…he was so accommodating and friendly! He made sure we were well taken care of and never wavered in his positivity!
